Kino is pre-launch. This landing page captures a single piece of information — your email address, if you choose to sign up for launch notifications. We wrote this policy to be as short and plain as possible. If anything is unclear, email privacy@kinosocial.com.
What we collect
- Your email address (only if you sign up for notifications).
- The platform(s) you told us you're interested in (iOS, Android, Chrome, Firefox, or all).
- Anonymized diagnostics: a hashed IP address (for rate limiting), your user-agent string, and the time you signed up.
- Aggregate page analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
- To email you once when Kino launches on your platform(s).
- To prevent abuse (rate limiting).
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except our email service provider (SparkPost) for the sole purpose of delivering the launch email.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email we send. You can also email privacy@kinosocial.com to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
Under GDPR, our EU representative is reachable at the same address until a formal EU rep is appointed prior to launch.
Retention
Your email is kept until you unsubscribe or launch has happened, whichever is later. Anonymized diagnostics are kept for 90 days.
